The ED Kiosk Laboratory serves the MGH ED. The lab offers rapid turnaround testing for cardiac markers, influenza antigen, strep A antigen, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), urine toxicology drug screen, urinalysis, and urine pregnancy testing.

SPECIMENS: Samples may be dropped off in the lab in the ED or in the blue plastic bins in the major, trauma or pedi sections of the the ED. The samples will be retrieved every 20 minutes from the bins by laboratory staff.

REQUISITIONS:

1) ED Lab Chemistry requisition: cardiac markers, D-dimer, urine drug screen, urinalysis, urine HCG.
