LOCATION: Bulfinch 422

The Immunology Laboratory is located on Bulfinch 422 and operates Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm.

Specimen Delivery - All specimens should be delivered to the Chemistry Laboratory (Gray 5) for initial processing.

Criteria for Refusal of Specimens - The laboratory reserves the right to refuse specimens under the following conditions:
1. Specimens collected in the wrong container.
2. Specimens improperly labeled OR unlabeled
3. Specimens not placed on ice, if required.
4. Specimens for cryoprotein determination MUST be received in warm water, at approximately 37° C.

Results: Results are available on the Clinical Application Suite (CAS) as soon as they are verified. Written results are sent to the Requesting Area and the Medical Records Room.
