Description

The Center for Integrated Diagnostics is a clinical service laboratory offering specialized molecular DNA testing.

The Laboratory performs a number of assays focused on tumor diagnostics in an effort to direct molecularly-targeted therapies and clinical trial enrollment. Among its offerings are Snapshot and the Solid Fusion Assay, which utilize Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology to evaluate actionable mutations in dozens of genes. Other assays include: MGMT and MLH1 promoter methylation, microsatellite instability (MSI), and a growing number of FISH screens. In addition, the laboratory performs pre-transplant STR genotyping and post-transplant chimerism analysis. Array CGH and hemochromatosis testing are also available in our laboratory. The laboratory is located in the Jackson Building, 10th floor, and is in operation Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Deliveries of non-perishable materials can be directed to room Jackson 1015.

Blood, bone marrow, and other body fluids should be directed to the Core Laboratory, and they will be transported to Jackson 10 by Laboratory Support Services.

Referring health care providers can contact the laboratory by telephone (617-643-2716) or by visiting the CID website.
